Timber Center asked Template to devise an awareness campaign aimed at carpenters, joiners and other people who use wood in their normal day to day work. As a professional trade outlet, Timber Centers competes with the likes of high street retailers such as Wickes. It was therefore important to push and promote the specialist nature of their business. The initial mailshot of the campaign gave away a free bottle opening key-ring in the shape of Timber Center's logo. The rest of the campaign built on this to increase awareness by drawing customers into store with offers that could be redeemed by producing the keyring. The promotion was considered to be so successful that Template were asked by a sister brand Build Center to launch their 'Don't Forget We Also Sell Timber!' campaign.
