As the biggest sports retailer in the world with over 500 stores, Decathlon understands that excellent visual communication is an integral part of our marketing strategy - the core values of our brand need to be conveyed in an instant across a broad range of promotional material.

Decathlon have been working with Template Marketing and Design for the last 5 years on a number of different projects and in that time they have continually shown that they are the right design agency for the job. The scope of the work has been extensive and has included full blown campaigns, brochures, point of sale, billboards  and magazine adverts.

They have always maintained a continuity of message across these different areas that is essential for such an extensive and vibrant company as Decathlon. Our stores sell a vast array of sports goods and for our customers, being able to differentiate between various products is an essential part of the sales process. Good, well thought-out design is at the hub of getting that right.

On a day to day basis I find the team at Template brilliant to work with. Creative director, Ian Rawlings, who oversees our projects interprets and executes ideas quickly and effectively so that the finished product is always delivered on time. Their customer service is exemplary, they are also very organised and are able to locate old projects that have been finished several years ago. This is particularly helpful when planning for future campaigns.

As Decathlon has expanded throughout the UK, representatives of Template have always made the effort to come to our new store openings. In fact they have been instrumental in providing the promotional material at the recent openings of both Reading and Wednesbury. It’s this personal approach that typifies Template’s approach to their clients. I hope to see them at many, many more.

The two things that we look for in and agency are quality and service.
